This coffee comes from the high-altitude region of Huehuetenango, Guatemala — actually pronounced “way-way-tin-ongo.” It is fun to say, a pleasure to roast, and even more delightful to drink morning or afternoon.
Grown high in the mountains, Way Way reflects the region’s unique climate, where warm winds from Mexico’s Tehuantepec plain protect the plants from frost and allow them to thrive at incredible elevations.
In the cup, you will find smooth notes of milk chocolate and vanilla, accented by hints of brown spice, pear, and pecan. The washed process lets the terroir shine, delivering a balanced coffee that is both comforting and full of character.
Huehuetenango is known for its rugged terrain, remote farms, and farmers who often run their own micro-mills to bring out the best in every harvest. The result is coffee that is consistent, vibrant, and deeply tied to place.
Way-Way honors the mountains it comes from, offering a cup that feels both grounded and uplifting.
