Roast

Our job is to bring out the best in every coffee we roast. Each batch is carefully roasted to highlight the unique characteristics of its origin, variety, and process.
Coffee starts as a green seed inside the fruit of the coffee plant—not actually a bean, but a magical seed with infinite potential. Our passion is transforming these seeds into a complex, vibrant cup for you to savor and share with friends.
Measure

Getting the right coffee-to-water ratio is key to a balanced brew. We recommend:
~12–13 g coffee per 5 oz (150 g) water → 1:16 ratio
Scale proportionally for multiple cups:
-
2 cups → 25 g coffee / 300 g water (10 oz)
-
3 cups → 38 g coffee / 450 g water (15 oz)
-
5 cups → 63 g coffee / 750 g water (25 oz)
Using the correct ratio prevents over-extraction (bitter) or under-extraction (sour/weak) and ensures a harmonious cup every time.
Grind

Your grind size dramatically affects strength, flavor, and mouthfeel. Freshly grinding just before brewing is always ideal.
-
Brewing method matters: Coarse for French press, medium-fine for drip, fine for espresso.
-
Invest in a conical burr grinder: It gives consistency and control.
-
Experiment and adjust—the grind is your main tool for dialing in your perfect cup. We’re here to guide you along the way!
Brew

For the best results:
-
Use filtered water heated to 195–205°F (90–96°C).
-
Brewing methods matter: drip machines are convenient, but pour-over or immersion techniques give you full control over extraction.
-
Experiment with grind, dose, and brewing time to explore your coffee’s full potential.
Pour

Your cup is a sensory experience:
-
Pour: Color, clarity, and cup shape all set the tone. Clear vessels reveal the coffee’s texture and depth. Let your cup reflect your style and confidence.
-
Taste: Sip as the coffee cools to explore evolving flavors and aromas. Note:
-
What flavors linger?
-
How does it feel on your palate?
-
How does it change as it cools?
-
These observations help you understand your preferences, improve your brewing technique, and appreciate the craft behind each cup.
Enjoy

The ultimate goal: Bring the Good Stuff to the Table...
Enjoy an amazing cup of specialty coffee, every time, and connect with the experience, your surroundings, and the people you share it with.
